Terms & Conditions

Plain-English promise: We hate small-print as much as you do, so we’ve written these terms to be readable. Where UK law says something different, the law wins.

1. About us

These terms apply to all orders placed through mawdle3d.co.uk (our “Site”). They do not cover any marketplace storefront such as Etsy.

2. Placing an order

  1. Add items to your cart and check out.

  2. You’ll get an on-screen confirmation and an email receipt—this is our contract.

  3. We can refuse or cancel an order (and refund you) if: stock is unavailable, payment fails, or we suspect fraud.

3. Prices, taxes & currency

  • All prices are shown inclusive of UK VAT (where applicable).

  • If you’re outside the UK you are the “importer of record”: local duties, taxes or handling fees are your responsibility.

  • We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before shipping.

4. Payment

Method Notes
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal Processed via PCI-DSS-compliant providers; we never see your full card details.
Bitcoin (coming soon) You’ll pay the GBP equivalent shown at checkout. Crypto payments are non-reversible; refunds (if due) will be in GBP via PayPal or bank transfer at the £ value originally received.

Payment is taken at the time you place the order.

5. Production & dispatch

Stage What happens
Printing time Most models are printed to order. Typical turnaround: 3 working days, but large or custom pieces may take longer (estimate shown on the product page).
Carriers Royal Mail or Evri by default. We may switch to another reputable courier if faster or safer.
Tracking All orders over £10 are sent tracked/insured. Lower-value orders may ship using an untracked service.

If the courier shows your parcel as delivered, that counts as fulfilment of our obligation.

7. Right to cancel & returns

7.1 UK consumers (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

  • You may cancel within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

  • Exceptions:

    • Custom-printed or personalised items (e.g., models supplied by you or colour combinations different to those we display) unless faulty.

    • Sealed items unwrapped for hygiene reasons (bathroom accessories).

7.2 Customers outside the UK

  • All sales are final unless the item is defective on arrival.

7.3 How to return

  1. Email admin@mawdle3d.co.uk with your order number.

  2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

  3. Post it back within 14 days of approval. You pay return postage unless the item is faulty.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 days of us receiving the goods and subject to condition.

8. Quality & safety

  • Printed primarily in PLA; avoid dishwashers and temperatures above 50 °C.

  • Choking hazard: Not suitable for children under 5 years—small parts may detach.

  • No additional warranty is offered; however, if something arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we’ll put it right.

9. Custom files & intellectual property

  • Your supplied files: You keep all IP rights. We will not reuse, share, or sell your design without written permission.

  • Our in-house designs: Remain our copyright. Buying a print does not grant you the digital file or reproduction rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the price you paid for the order. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Force majeure

We aren’t liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, lockdowns, supply-chain disruption, zombie apocalypse).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. Updates to these terms

We may change these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date and will apply to future orders. Continued use of the Site means you accept the revised terms.
